Memories of my Brown Belt Test

A student recently asked me what my most memorable training memory is. I have many, from achievements that I have been proud of to obstacles I've overcome. One of them that comes to mind now, is my brown-belt test.

The 100 in Greensboro, AL (Day 2)

This was an awesome day. The people of this community are so thankful. They remember us year after year and come out to watch us work and say hello and thank you to us. The front porches of all the houses around us were well occupied with spectators and cheering folks. Meeting Ms. Georgia was awesome. She is SO excited. She watched every bit of the days work from a neighbor's porch. I love being here!

The 100 in Greensboro, AL (2013 - Day 1)

Made it to Greensboro late tonight but just in time to meet with everyone and get to hear some really great discussions. I just love being here. It's definitely one of my favorite parts of the year.



There was a small group of people today that stood up the first few walls for Ms. Georgia's house. The intention was to go out there tomorrow and get crackin' but there's a big storm rolling in. Big storms in Alabama mean something different that a "big" storm in California.… Continue
