They're going well. As of last week the entire family is now training. Lilith finally turned 4 and joined in the fun. Dean graduates out of the Tiny Tigers tomorrow night, so starting Friday he'll be a Little Dragon. Time sure flys.
How are things with you? Before you know it, you're little one with be in there training with you too!
Thanks Mike. My family and I are planning to move to Sacramento from San Jose within the next half a year. We are moving into a house on 49th, not too far from your dojo.
I have 2 sons, 5 and 8, and want them to learn a martial art. My older son Joshua has been taking aikido for over a year, but I think it would be good for
him to learn karate and possibly judo as well (in time). But I'm going to wait until his brother Noah turns 6 before enrolling him too.
Thank you for your comments Mr. Oliver. I enjoyed sparring and I cannot wait until I am able to get the gear. I enjoy class and appreciate the patience and willingness of everyone.
I miss seeing Ella have fun on the dojo floor too. She seems determined to stop doing karate for now though. She wants to take dance class again, so I'm glad she's at least interested in doing something active! I'm thinking she'll probably dance through the summer, and maybe try out karate again in the fall. Then again, Ella will probably surprise me with some plan she comes up with!
Jack is so proud of his new purple belt! He couldn't wait to show it to his dad when he got home. Jack has been seriously considering what kind of community service project he will do when he gets ready for more advanced belts. Nothing has inspired him yet, though. I'm thinking of asking our pastor for ideas, and of course, please let us know of anything you have in mind.
It's been an amazing tranformation due, in large part, to your patience with him! My heart went out to the parents of the new little guy in class last night. I wanted to run after them and tell them about Vinny!!
Awesome site, sir! Thank you very much for the invite. I saw the last episode of the Pacific, and of course a new one comes out tonight. The last one was good, but did not have the action of the first two.

Thanks, Michael!
I'm way past fashionably late to say "Thanks" for the Mother's Day wish, but
unfortunately during that time my Mom (age 98) was in Hospice and passed
on May 12th sooooo I was kind of out of it at the time. Thanks again.
