Finding my way back in --maybe a UBBT update?

It's been a while since I posted anything, and also a challenge to maintain UBBT requirements lately.  June was an incredibly busy work month, and the fallout continues into July.  As a ripple effect, daily requirements fell by the wayside, or were spottily done, and I'm not happy about that.  I need to get back to that consistency that I had in December and January, and remind myself that I know how to do that (it *was* all working, then, yeah?).

Nevertheless, there have been some recent high points.

--I had great walking during the conference in New Orleans, and did not gain any weight from that trip (a major accomplishment as the food in NOLA is so good but not necessarily good for you!).

--Just this morning I had the opportunity to share about verbal judo as a comment to a colleagues post about bullying.

--I have a mini-fundraising project for Charity:Water going to inspire me to get kicking on my mileage again:

http://mycharitywater.org/summersmallchange.

I'm also observing the practice of yu in my life--courage is a trait that I can exercise more and more.

So, I'm finding my way back in, and reconnecting here as a jumpstart to that.

charity:water is a great group. I did a fundraiser for them a couple years ago. They are one of VERY few charities who give 100% of the donations directly to the cause. I still have a lot of images/flyers/info on my computer that I can play with in PhotoShop and stuff. So, if you need some pamphlets or something made up, let me know, I'd be glad to help out!

Absolutely: My fundraiser idea started because I wanted to do a collaborative project with my Facebook friends--more than just share links & pictures.  I follow several water organizations, including water.org,  blood:water mission, etc., and chose charity:water because they had easy ways of posting a project (& I had done so in the past).

I had invited my Facebook &  Twitter friends to set aside loose change from now until the end of  September.  I'm also contributing 25 cents per mile between now and then so I can get in back in gear on that part of UBBT.  I'm calling it the "Summer of Love and Small Change" project.  It was more a wild hair of mine--I'd be glad to collaborate, consult, etc.!

Tell us more about your fundraiser project! We have a little dragon that wanted to raise $500 for water.org. Maybe we can combine our forces?
