Event Description
Making ready for the new year is called kotohajime in Japan. On this day, every crack is swept, every cranny dusted or cleaned. Floors and other wooden surfaces are given a polishing.
Come join us at the Coloma Center to not only clean the space that we use, but also to help clean other areas of the center for the community. If you have any cleaning supplies that you can share, bring them!
This is also a good time to start work on any projects or upgrades in regards to the dojo--I'm open to ideas.
Projects

Drywall patches - Anyone have some experience that can lead this project?
Clean Mirrors - Windex
Floor - Sweep, vacuum, and then wipe/scrub with Vinegar and Warm Water, windex spray, and then final water mop.
Windows - Windex
Chalkboard - Vinegar & Water
Cupboards/Sills - general dusting & cleaner
Equipment - Soap & Water
Sink - Soap Water
