For my black belt project I decided to help collect sock donations for the homeless. This time of year, our city is cold and wet and having a dry feet is an important step in keeping yourself warm. I want to make sure that those in our community who don't have a warm place to sleep can still keep have clean, dry socks and warm feet. I am collecting socks through the dojo and my school - Capitol Montessori Project. Thank you for any donations! …

LETTING FOSTER CHILDREN KNOW THAT THEY ARE IMPORTANT AND SPECIAL
Sometimes a child cannot stay with his or her first family, and is moved to a foster home or shelter. A foster child can make new friends but may be moved again to another temporary family. He or she will need to adapt to that family and make more new friends.
