Our Advice |

Choosing a School |
Right away, you should know that not all martial arts schools are created equal. Different schools not only teach different systems of martial arts, but the teaching methods, class size, experience of instructors and general feel of the class can vary dramatically from one school to the next.
When researching a potential martial arts school in Sacramento for yourself, make sure that when you actually visit the dojo to meet the teachers and students, you pay attention to the attitude of everyone there.
A good martial arts teacher will have a profound impact on your mental and physical development. Make sure you choose a school with teachers and fellow students that you feel comfortable with.

Thank you for your interest in our school. Here are a few things that you should know about our dojo and the classes that I teach:
- I will ALWAYS treat you and yours with respect. To me, that's more important than money, more important than this school, and more important than your "membership."
- I don't "sell." I'm a teacher. I don't engage in or support manipulative sales "techniques" or involve myself in sales strategies designed to make you "buy." I run a simple school here with a curriculum that revolves around courtesy, community involvement, respect for self and others, fitness, self-defense, and living a healthy, involved lifestyle. I send out about 6 e-mails a year to non-students, typically around special events and/or seminars I think might be beneficial to the community at large.
- If you ever need help with something you feel I might be able to help with, don't hesitate to contact me.
