River Clean-Up and Nature Walk with Teddy Bogdan

Teddy Bogdan invites you to a river cleanup and nature walk at Sutter's Landing, this Sunday, April 3rd at 9:00 am.  

To join him, take 28th street in Midtown towards B Street. Go over the railroad tracks until the road dead-ends by the skateboard park.  We'll be meeting at a kiosk at the end of the parking lot closest to the river. Please RSVP to [e-mail] or by text/phone to Wendy Bogdan at 916-761-3623.

• Bring hats, and perhaps binoculars, dress in layers, wear comfortable shoes.
• We will provide gloves and bags for gathered garbage. 

Every bit of garbage cleanup makes a difference. Join us and pick up five or ten pieces of garbage and then, for those interested, enjoy the fact that two wonderful local naturalists will be leading a nature walk in association with a special program called “Nature Bowl”:  Robert Sewell and Dale Steele from Friends of Sutter's Landing Park. Both Robert and Dale have an incredible amount of knowledge about the City of Sacramento’s natural environment. In addition, they have very special perspectives on the history of midtown and East Sacramento, and vision for how our neighborhoods can build connectivity to the river into their future. Most of all, they absolutely love watching kids and adults explore and discover the riparian habitat.
