Sacramento Martial Arts and Karate

Last week we had an awesome awards ceremony in all three age groups. This was our biggest graduating group yet! In our Little Dragons class we had the pleasure of Chris Piper coming in to take some absolutely beautiful shots of the kids. Chris is a professional photographer and really makes me see the value in having a photographer that knows what they are doing. I used to try and get nice looking shots myself of my classes--not anymore. Chris really captures the moment. It probably helps that his daughter is one of our Little Dragons, so he knows the moments to look for in class. When I saw the pictures for the first time, I was smiling as if I was there all over again.

Chris has been kind enough to put the images from the Little Dragons practice and belt ceremony of April 5, online and ready for viewing and ordering. I think I just might have to get one of the "Martial Arts Magazine" prints!

The April 5, 2010 session is at:

Alternately, you can always find the galleries by navigating to:

http://www.chrispiperphotography.com --> Clients --> Order Prints

Using the online galleries, you and your family and friends can order
prints and other photo products (calendars, cards, magnets, coffee cups
etc) and have them shipped directly to your home. In addition, my site
also offers framing and matting services for a complete, ready to hang
picture. Look for the options after you add a photo to your cart.

For a fun option, you can have your child's picture on the cover of a
martial arts magazine. Add their photo to the cart and then choose
"Stationary" --> "Magazine Covers" --> "Martial Arts Magazine
Cover". Your child's photo will be inserted into the magazine cover,
making a great keepsake for your Little Dragon.

Once a photo is added to the cart and the print size(s) chosen, the
checkout process should be straightforward and familiar. Checkout is
similar to most major online retail sites; enter mailing and shipping
addresses, credit card information, review the order and click confirm.
But if you'd like help please call or email and I'll be happy to assist
you. Please be assured that all orders are personally reviewed and
fulfilled by me as well. If for any reason your aren't satisfied then
I'll do whatever it takes to make it right.

In addition to the browsing and purchase galleries, I will create a
"Free Downloads" gallery for each Little Dragons session. You can
download free images suitable for emailing, FaceBook, etc from this
directory.

To do this, follow these steps (instructions are also present in the gallery as well):

1. Go to the "Free Downloads" gallery
2. Open the gallery
3. Click on any photo to bring it up
4. Hover over the image with your mouse and you'll see a black menu bar along the left side
5. You'll see the choices: Add to Cart, Add to Favorites, Share, Dim the Lights, Download Original and Add to Collection
6. Click "Download Original" and you'll be prompted to save the image to your computer

Please forward the gallery URLs, my email and phone number to your
friends and family so that they can see your Little Dragons in action.

I'm happy to assist anyone that may have questions and of course I always encourage your comments as well.

Sincerely,
Chris

Mike,

Thanks so much for the kind words. It's a pleasure to shoot when the kids give you everything they have, they love to work for you. You've been a great teacher for Naomi, we appreciate everything that you're doing and all that you offer.

I've put up the last practice at http://clients.chrispiperphotography.com/littledragons/12222009 if anyone would like to see more.

Sincerely,
Chris
