Sacramento Martial Arts and Karate
Hi,
My name is Joseph Hales and I will be seven in July, tonight I am taking my Tiny Tiger Black Belt Test today. I think I'm ready, but I'm nervous, I have to know so much stuff. Sensei has taught me a lot. I'm excited to move to Little Dragons, I have friends from school there and I will miss my friends in Tiny Tigers.
My black belt project is called Dogs without Dojos, I know that a Dojo isn't a real home, but my dad says it is like a spiritual home. I'm trying to help dogs who are homeless with their owners. My dad helped me search the internet to find places that help homeless dogs. We decided on the shelter at Loaves and Fishes on 12th avenue, downtown.
I'm asking all of you here at Zen Martial arts to help me help homeless dogs. Did you know that many homeless people will feed their dogs before themselves? Please give anything you can to DOGS WITHOUT DOJOS. I am collecting bags or cans of food, dog dishes, leashes and dog beds.
Thank You!
Joseph Hales
Tiny Tiger
Black Belt Candidate.

Joseph,
My name is Sensei Chris and I am passionate about homeless pets too. I would like to help you with your project if I can and I'd love to interview and accompany you to the shelter when you go to donate everything you raise. Do you have a list of some of the things the shelter needs the most?
Awesome project, Sir!
