The Karate Kid Group Showing

This weekend is the release of the next big martial arts movie--the Karate Kid! I'm looking forward to watching this movie with my karate family. Please, bring friends and family along as well. When I was a kid, it was the original Karate Kid movie that got me interested in the martial arts. I'm excited to see the impact that new movie has on the youth of today.

Before the showing, we will meet for an early lunch over at the Land Park Sandwich Spot at 10:45am. Jaime, a karate mom and owner of the shop, has offered to give us a 10% discount on our lunch! Details and directions are the Lunch at the Sandwich Spot event here.

Tickets are $6.00 for the 12:20pm showtime at the Century Theaters Downtown Plaza. We have a batch of 10 tickets that I pre-ordered that will be available from me during our regular class times. The theater said that they expect a huge turnout during this show time so I suggest you get your ticket soon.
