Zen Martial Arts Center

Sacramento Martial Arts and Karate

This is my 7th blog entry for my brown belt project.  Next week will be my last entry.  I am collecting fruit & veggies for Wellspring Women & Children’s Center.  This week I interviewed Annie Hassid from Wellspring.  Annie is the volunteer coordinator.  She likes her job because she likes working with people.  Annie has to be able to manage and coordinate people in order to do her job.  She also has to be professional, patient and helpful.  This week we collected 70 lbs of apples, 40 lbs of pears, 35 lbs of tomatoes, 15 lbs of grapes, 10 lbs of mini plums, 20 lbs of corn, 1 crate of herbs, 1 bag of eggplant, 1 bag of green beans & 7 lbs of cucumbers.  I hope the guests at Wellspring enjoy these fruits and veggies!

PS:  I have been having a little trouble when posting my photos.  They have been getting turned sideways somehow.  Hopefully that won’t happen this week.  My new photo shows some of the beautiful tomatoes we gotJ.
